AI is the future

I've always admired the skill of Brian Bilston poem Refugees, which gives a reversed interpretation of its message when you read the lines in reverse order.  I've often mulled over the prospect of doing it myself, but found it far too hard. It is incredibly hard to make it flow, but I think I may be nearly there.

No AI was used in the creation of this poem.

AI is the future

These clever men have done it!
AI has been given all the power it needs -
Accurate answers take mere moments!
Human error is a thing of the past!

When intelligence is seen as electrical impulses
The bounds of possibility are infinite
Without mellinnia of scruples to hold AI back.

To be free from the drudgery of mindless repetition,
To be free of the mundane,
To see themselves as cats, as superheroes, as saviours,
To reap the rewards of being the best,
These clever men wanted it all.

In the race to be the first,
Each agent has been gifted the power
Over systems for human safety, weapon delivery, international banking.
All is safe, AI is in control.

AI is the future!

[OR should it be read like this]:

AI is the future.

All is safe. AI is in control
Over systems for human safety, weapon delivery, international banking;
Each agent has been gifted the power
In the race to be the first.

These clever men wanted it all:
To reap the rewards of being the best,
To see themselves as cats, as saviours, as superheroes,
To be free of the mundane,
To be free from the drudgery of mindless repetition.

Without millennia of scruples to hold AI back
The bounds of possibility are infinite.
When intelligence is seen as electrical impulses
Human error is a thing of the past;
Accurate answers take mere moments.

AI has been given all the power it needs;
These clever men have done it.
