Yoga

Yoga I'm feeling incredibly smug this morning - I got up early and did a 40 minute yoga practice to some lovely music and now feel great! Before my husband retired I used to do a practice nearly every weekday after he left for work, but it's harder to get out of bed when it's nice and snug and you have someone to cuddle and chat to. Gradually my yoga practice has reduced to a once a week class, during term time,  with nothing during the Christmas,  Easter,  and summer breaks. Coming back to it always feels like coming home.  I love the discipline of concentrating on the breath and alignment,  the focus the exertion gives you, the feeling of being alive when you finish.  So why don't I do it more often????
